Q. How can I contact the house or flat seller?
A. To contact the person wishing to sell their house simply click the ‘contact seller’ tab on the property listing and fill in the quick internet registration form. Once completed, you will be able to securely email the house seller directly, asking any questions you have about the house they wish to sell. 

Q. I've seen a house on the intermet that I'm interested in - how do I arrange a viewing?
A. Simply click on the ‘contact seller tab’ on the house listing, then fill in the quick registration form. Once done either telephone the person wishing to sell direct or select the ‘arrange viewing’ option. The internet property seller will then contact you to arrange a mutually convenient viewing time.

Q. Do I need a solicitor when buying a house or flat?
A. You will need a solicitor if you wish to buy or sell a house or flat, especially if as a buyer you make an offer that is accepted. It is important to appoint a solicitor as soon as your offer is accepted, to ensure that the buying process runs smoothly and in a timely manner. The person wishing to sell will have their own solicitor. A solicitor who deals with property sales is also known as a conveyancer. They deal with internet house or flat sales in the same way that they do with any other property selling.

Q. How do I obtain the Home Information Pack (HIPs) report on a house?
A. HIPs are now compulsary for most UK house sales, including internet house sales. Each house seller will have access to their own HIP.  You will need to contact the house seller directly to arrange to view this report. Anyone who wishes to sell their house on the internet can easily purchase their own HIP from a reputable provider. Q. Do I need an estate agent to sell my property?
A. No! To sell your own house or sell your own flat on the internet can mean that you can avoid the inconsistent valuations and questionable practices that have made estate agents one of the least trusted professions. If you are able to deal with a house buyer directly there is no need for an estate agent at all. The estate agent is simply a middleman and by cutting them out you can sell your house yourself, and save thousands of pounds in fees. In most cases you are the best person to sell you house. MoveWise.co.uk will provide you with all the tools and advice you need to sell your house on the internet. Q. I am already with an estate agent can I use MoveWise to sell my house?

Q. What happens when I receive an offer?

When you wish to accept an offer, simply inform your conveyancer that you wish to sell, they will then carry out all the necessary paper work for you to sell. Make sure that you are happy with the offer, and don't accept any offers that are unsuitable and not in line with the value of your property. Also, it is wise to keep your potential buyer in the loop at all times to ensure that they don't lose interest. If you are considering their offer then tell them so, if the offer is not what you wish to sell for then tell them this also. Remember, most buyers will make an offer which is a starting point, and they do so to try and gauge what is the best possible price for them. Negotiations are not difficult if you remember what your lowest acceptable offer to sell is, and don't make any rash decisions to sell. The negotiations can take place via the internet through email, or over the phone, or in person : -whatever you find most suitable.

Q. Do I need a Home Information Pack (HIP) to sell my house online?
A. Yes, since 14th December 2007 all house sellers, (including those who sell on the internet), are required by law to produce a HIP. The day your property goes onto the market or on the internet, you will need to choose a HIPs provider unless you intend to create a HIP yourself. If you advertise to sell a house on the internet without a HIP, you can be fined for each day the house/flat is on the market without a compliant HIP.
